Raiders veteran can’t wait to get the f— off the team
Just in case you weren’t completely convinced that this year’s Oakland Raiders are a total dumpster fire, this should change your mind.
Mercury News reporter Matt Schneidman quoted a Raiders veteran as saying on his way out the locker room Sunday that he has to “get the f— outta here.”
One Raiders veteran to another, on his way out of the locker room past three reporters, including myself: “I gotta get the f*** outta here.”

The Raiders lost Sunday to the LA Chargers 20-6. They have scored just nine points in their last two games and have been defeated five straight times to fall to 1-8.
Oakland’s new regime under Jon Gruden built a team they thought would compete for a postseason spot, but instead they got off to a bad start and instead decided to tank. They’ve traded some of their good players and are hoping to land a high draft pick ahead of their move to Las Vegas.
It’s understandable for veterans to feel that this type of situation is not for them.
