The Los Angeles Rams hardly seem like they need much help on the offensive end, but that isn’t stopping them from exploring additions to their coaching staff.
According to Peter Schrager of Fox Sports, Rams coach Sean McVay has discussed adding former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury as an offensive assistant for the remainder of the season amid widespread interest in NFL circles, and the two sides have spoken.
As I just said on FOX, there’s significant NFL interest in former Texas Tech HC Kliff Kingsbury. Rams HC Sean McVay reached out to Kingsbury last week and discussed having Kingsbury come aboard for this stretch run in an offensive assistant/consultant role. @NFLonFOX @gmfb

This would almost certainly be merely temporary, as Kingsbury may have a larger role waiting for him with someone beyond this season. Though he didn’t work out as head coach, a multitude of teams want to take him on as an offensive coordinator, and it seems he’ll have his pick of offers in college and the NFL.
