With NFL teams opening training camp this week, we are starting to hear rumblings about the possibility of Greg Hardy finding a new home. According to one report, the Washington Redskins are considering bringing the troubled defensive lineman on board.
ESPN’s Ed Werder said Tuesday that the Redskins have had “internal discussions” about Hardy now that Junior Galette has been lost for the season to a torn Achilles. It is believed that one of Hardy’s former teammates would vouch for Washington signing the soon-to-be 28-year-old.

The Jacksonville Jaguars recently brought Hardy in for a workout, but it appears they do not have legitimate interest in signing him.
If not for his off-field troubles and reputation as a locker room distraction, Hardy would be one of the highest-paid defensive players in football. After disturbing photos of his alleged domestic assault were released last year, Hardy has become untouchable for many NFL teams.
