Report: Richie Incognito not expected to be punished by NFL for alleged slurs
Richie Incognito is not expected to be punished by the NFL for allegedly using racial slurs in the Buffalo Bills’ wild-card playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to a report.
Buffalo Bills reporter Vic Carucci shared the news about Incognito via Twitter on Monday:
#NFL investigation into exchange between #Bills OG Richie Incognito & #Jaguars DE Yannick Ngakoue has concluded & Incognito is not expected to be punished, per league source. He is at the Pro Bowl & expected to address the matter with media there.

Contrary to Carucci’s report, an NFL spokesperson says the investigation is not over.
#NFL spokesman says league's investigation into Richie Incognito playoff-game exchange is "not done" and that the matter "remains under review."

After the Bills-Jaguars playoff game, Jacksonville Pro Bowl DE Yannick Ngakoue accused Incognito of using racial slurs against him during the game. Buffalo’s GM thought it was all a misunderstanding.
Incognito has a prior history of alleged bullying and using racial slurs, so this wasn’t anything new. Interestingly, the two players will be teammates for the AFC at the Pro Bowl.
