Teddy Bridgewater is making his way back from a catastrophic knee injury and could be ready to be activated very soon.
CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reports that Bridgewater is set to be activated from the PUP list for Week 10. The team is on a bye in Week 9 and will play at Washington in Week 10.
Bridgewater has been out since suffering a horrific leg injury in training camp last year and has missed a season and a half since then. After being activated from the PUP list, the team will have three weeks to decide whether to place the QB on the active roster or leave him on the PUP list. La Canfora says the plan is to activate him.
The Vikings have been going with Case Keenum at quarterback and have won four straight games under him. Sam Bradford started and looked great in Week 1, but he injured his knee and tried to return a month later against the Bears but did not look good. They replaced him with Keenum in that game, who helped the team get the win. Keenum has been the starter ever since.
