Tom Brady had epic quote of confidence ahead of AFC Championship
Tom Brady appears to be as confident as he has been at any point in his Hall of Fame career heading into the AFC Championship Game, and no quote showcases that better than the one he delivered to a Patriots staff member earlier in the week.
Michael Giardi of NFL Network said Sunday that Julian Edelman told him Brady has been throwing the ball better than ever in practice, and the 41-year-old quarterback is apparently feeling himself. A Patriots staffer told Giardi that Brady walked into the team’s facility at Gillette Stadium this week and declared that he’s “the baddest motherf—er on the planet.”

Brady has always managed to maintain a chip on his shoulder despite the unprecedented success he has enjoyed, and the 2018 season has been no different. New England struggled early on and has not played well away from home, but Brady doesn’t seem concerned about that.
The Patriots are 3-point underdogs heading into Kansas City, and the remarks Brady made after last week’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers show that he is embracing the underdog role. That is an art he has mastered throughout his career.
