A very interesting team is listed as the favorite to acquire Tyreek Hill if he is traded.
Hill did not play in the fourth quarter of his Miami Dolphins’ season-ending 32-20 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday. He said after the game that the reason was related to his ongoing wrist injury. However, he suggested after the game that he wants out of Miami entirely.
It’s too early to know whether Hill will be traded, but that’s certainly a possibility that needs to be weighed. The list of teams that would have interest in him is intriguing.
SportsBetting.ag has listed odds for Hill’s next team if he gets traded. Here are the teams with odsd of 12-1 or better.
Dallas Cowboys 3/1
Las Vegas Raiders 4/1
Atlanta Falcons 5/1
Buffalo Bills 6/1
New England Patriots 8/1
Jacksonville Jaguars 10/1
Denver Broncos 12/1
Washington Commanders 12/1
The Cowboys acquiring Hill sure would be something. They already have CeeDee Lamb at the position, but coming off a 7-10 season in which Dak Prescott got hurt, the Cowboys might be motivated to add a star player like Hill.
Hill signed a restructured contract extension with the Dolphins in August that pays him $90 million over three years. A team that acquires him would get him for 2025 and 2026. In 2026, Hill is set to make $36 million, which is a hefty figure.
Hill was Miami’s leading receiver with 959 yards and 123 targets this season. However, Jonnu Smith had more catches and touchdowns than him. Miami went 8-9 and missed the playoffs, which marks the first time in his career that Hill’s team has missed the postseason.
Based on a change he made to his social media profile on Monday, it seems like Hill is done with the Dolphins. The 30-year-old appears to be ready for a change, and there is one player already recruiting him.
