WR Dontrelle Inman agrees to one-year deal with Patriots
The New England Patriots are still looking to improve at the wide receiver position even after drafting N’Keal Harry in the first round two weeks ago, and they added another veteran on Friday.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Patriots have agreed to a one-year deal with Dontrelle Inman.
That was fast: The #Patriots are signing WR Dontrelle Inman to a 1-year deal, source said. An intriguing option in the room for the player who had 4 offers.

Inman spent the first three-plus years of his career with the Chargers before having brief stints with the Bears and Colts. He caught 28 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns in Indianapolis last year, and he was a reliable option for Philip Rivers prior to that.
Tom Brady already showed he is excited about the Patriots grabbing a receiver early in the draft, and he’ll probably like that they are still looking to add veterans at the position.
