ESPN has apologized for the regrettable moment that took place during the telecast of the Sugar Bowl on Monday night.

While returning from a commercial break during the Texas-Washington College Football Playoff semifinal, ESPN aired some footage of people walking down Bourbon Street in New Orleans, La. One of the women happened to pull down her top to expose her breast just as she was on camera. The clip, which you can see here, made its way onto the telecast.

While many fans appreciated the lack of editorial oversight, ESPN issued an apology on Tuesday.

We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast,” ESPN’s Bill Hofheimer said in a statement to The Associated Press.

It is not all that uncommon for women to flash their breasts while walking down Bourbon Street, so ESPN probably should have been on high alert. They certainly will be next time.
