A driver who cruised around the streets of San Diego in a dune buggy was sentenced to 45 days in jail on Monday for his stunt, which went viral after the video was posted to YouTube.
If you watch the video, it’s pretty awesome. The guy is cruising around the streets, taking turns like he’s in Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift, and jumping walls and hills like that scene in Dumb and Dumber.
Though most viewers thought the video was killer, police thought otherwise. The Man charged him with 26 counts, and he ultimately pleaded guilty to four misdemeanors. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and three years probation.
Way to suck the fun out of something, San Diego.
