If the T-shirt you see above was available for purchase on a Magic fan blog, we would appreciate it as a genius form of sarcasm. However, it’s not. Believe it or not, the NBA store is selling Dwight Howard shirts with the word “Loyalty” across the front of them. Considering it was recently reported that Howard is disgusted with the Magic and wants out of Orlando this offseason, that’s an interesting word to choose.
Dwight may have chosen to not opt out of his deal with Orlando and got his wish from the front office when Stan Van Gundy was fired, but if he is considered a loyal person there’s something seriously wrong with our society. As soon as he gets traded, I envision a lot of Magic fans buying these T-shirts just to light them on fire.
