The Houston Astros are set to return to their hometown on Saturday for the first time since Hurricane Harvey.
With the rains finally stopped, the Astros will play a doubleheader Saturday against the New York Mets, the team announced in a release on Wednesday. The first game will be a makeup of Friday night’s game, which has already been postponed.

For now, logistical issues have dictated that the Astros and Texas Rangers are facing off in Tampa Bay. The good news is the Astros’ absence will not be long-lived, and Saturday is sure to be a joyful and emotional occasion at Minute Maid Park.
