The DH is the worst rule change in baseball. But Ol Hank needs to realize that the Yankees won 21 world series without the DH. They have only won 5 in the past 35 years. He is an assclown who is upset that both the Sox AND Rays are better than his overpaid stiffs are

Well, maybe we should have DH’s for other position players who can’t hit as well. Catchers, 2B, SS. Why stop there?

With the exception of the pitcher not having to face the music after hitting an opposing batter, I like to see the extra offense. I get sick of seeing NL lineups that have hitters 7-9 batting .240, .220, and .160 respectively. Who wants to watch three auto-outs in a row?

i am a national league guy and i think that ole hankie is wrong… DH just makes the managers life that much easier. Cant really pitcher around a DHer like David Ortiz to face someone like ManRam or Mike Lowell?? (just using the Red Sox as an example)

I’m an American League guy and I think we’re in the wrong. If you don’t play in the field, you shouldn’t
get those at-bats. And if you’re a pitcher who is gonna throw at somebody, you’d better be prepared
to face the same medicine. Down with the DH.
