Kevin Youkilis ties the knot with Tom Brady’s sister Julie
The Red Sox may be off to a miserable start this season, but at least things in Kevin Youkilis‘ personal life are going quite well of late.
Not too long after their engagement became public, Youkilis and Tom Brady‘s sister Julie “quietly” tied the knot on the Red Sox’s day off last Thursday. (Youk probably wanted to prove to Bobby Valentine he was capable of making a commitment.)
Julie, who is reportedly pregnant, has been dating the third baseman for over a year and was seen at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis with him in February.
“It was definitely the greatest off day of my life,” Youkilis told WAAF, per the Boston Herald. “It was a lot of fun, good times. I know there has been some rough times with baseball, but — I don’t usually talk about this — but it’s something good and I wanted to share.”
Only immediate family was present for the intimate ceremony, which was held at Youk’s Weston, Mass., home, with Brady and Gisele delivering the toast. Youkilis said there might be plans for a larger celebration later on for teammates and other family. Valentine’s invitation is TBD.
