Orioles fan has custom Robert Griffin III jersey (Picture)

With the Orioles currently in first place in the powerhouse A.L. East, the Nationals just 1.5 games behind Atlanta in the N.L. East, and the Redskins having drafted Robert Griffin III, things are slowly starting to improve in the Maryland area. Fans have a reason for optimism, and that optimism spans across multiple sports platforms for a change. As you can see from the photo above that DC Sports Bog passed along, an Orioles fan decided to customize an RG3 jersey and wear it to Nationals Park on Friday night.

The unique thing about this jersey is that in the past you would likely see an O’s fan do something like this to show how irrelevant the Orioles have become. So far this season, it’s an example of how fans in the Maryland-D.C. area actually have something to celebrate. RG3’s quirky socks approve of this message.

Thanks to @matttp21 for the photo
