		<description>I think Howard&#039;s going to have a tough time proving this one, especially given what guys like Burrell and Ibanez from his own team settled for.  I don&#039;t feel bad for Howard, I&#039;m just trying to forecast here because I see ugly things down the road.</description>

		<description>I have no sympathy for players who have to go to arbitration.  If they do not like it, all they have to do is have the Union remove it.  The players are the ones who wanted arbitration, and they are the ones who benefit from the system.

In order to get the raise they are seeking, all players have to do is prove they are worth one dollar over the midpoint of the difference between their number and the team&#039;s number.  They never have to justify their full requested salary.

In Ryan Howard&#039;s case, he only has to prove that he&#039;s worth $16,000,001 per year and he gets the $18 million.  What a world!</description>
