Anthony Davis: The unibrow is here to stay (Video)

Kentucky star and AP Player of the Year Anthony Davis appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday night, and almost right off the bat, the unibrow was the topic of discussion. And with Davis most likely on the cusp of becoming an NBA multimillionaire, you would think he’d finally hit up a waxing salon and take care of his Bert Special. Wrong. Davis told Kimmel the unibrow isn’t going anywhere.

“It’s me. It’s my brand, I like the way it is. … That’s my plan. Keep it forever. No need to cut it.”

“Yeah, you don’t need two eyebrows. One is perfectly fine,” Kimmel quipped.

“I’m trying to start a new trend,” Davis replied.

Davis previously said he enjoyed all the attention his forehead mustache got during the year, and now he’s saying it’s a part of who he is and here to stay. I say good for him for not giving into society’s vain and shallow standards. When he gets to the league he should make it part of his logo. MJ has the jumpman, LeBron’s is the crown, and Davis’ could be a unibrow. Somebody needs to take advantage of the untapped unibrow market. And then he can embroider the logo into the seats of his future white-on-white Bentley.
