The video is of a MARSHMALLOW fight — a tradition amongst seniors during their last home game.

Some of that is snow, but 90% is marshmallows.

I am in there somewhere — not throwing anything, but watching the football game I paid to see.

I bet Weis thought the Syracuse game was the perfect game to have recruits visit — how could it go wrong? Maybe some of those guys will commit figuring they can start instantly.

Senior Day and last home game of the season, a huge recruiting visit weekend including Punahou (HI) linebacker Manti Te’o who was supposed to get the Royal Hawaiian treatment. I’m sure they were all very impressed. I wonder how Mr. Clausen feels about his son’s progress so far.

The news that Syracuse had upset the Irish in South Bend made my weekend. Maybe next year’s recruiting class should include the guys who were on target with their snowballs.

It never ceases to amaze me how Notre Dame always has a “top five” recruiting class, and then the team suffers from a lack of good players.

If Notre Dame played the same type of schedule it did twenty years ago, it would have wound up with three victories. No wonder the NBC network is last.
