Jimmy Graham has found a new home with the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at his Twitter profile.
After the New Orleans Saints traded Graham on Tuesday, he removed the words “New Orleans Saints Tight End #80” from his Twitter bio and replaced them with one simple word — traded.
We already know how Drew Brees felt about the trade, and it seems like Graham was in the same boat. Just one day before he was dealt, Graham tweeted about Mark Ingram signing an extension with the Saints and seemed very happy about it. He probably wouldn’t have said much had he known he was on the trading block.
The photo that Brees tweeted on Wednesday represents how he feels about Graham. The fact that Graham chose to refer to himself as “traded” rather than a Seahawks tight end says even more.
