Tiger Woods appears to injure hand bumping into photographer (Video)

Tiger Woods appeared to injure his hand bumping into a photographer as he walked off the course at Olympic Club on Saturday.

Tiger seemed to be walking with his head down as he exited the course, and he bumped right into the photographer who was shifting positions after seeming to get the shot he wanted. Woods was probably already frustrated after shooting a 5-over 75 to drop from tied for first to tied for 14th after the day, and that may have been why he seemed extra upset.

Asked about the injury after the round, Woods gave a typical icy response.

“It’s fine.”

Somehow I think his poor round is the primary reason why he was ticked off.

This is no Zapruder Film, however I have broken this film down step by step and I will clearly demonstrate that it was Tiger Woods’ ego that caused the collision. He was frustrated over his crappy play and was looking for someone to push around. As Tiger walks toward the trail leading up to the stairway you notice at 0.13 seconds Tiger clearly is not in middle of trail. He is to the right straddling the grass edge and at 0.14 he aims his right shoulder toward the poor dumb cameraman. Watch it again. He takes a big forward and lateral step extending his right shoulder forward. It reminds me of a bully who purposely bumps shoulders to intimidate someone. Tiger Woods is a BULLY. At 0.15 Tiger strikes his shoulder on the man as if to say, “Hey, you are in my way dumb-ass.” Tiger is at fault here for not avoiding the collision. Is he that blind? The golf course should take some responsibility and have a roped off trail to prevent this from happening or the policeman should walk in front of Tiger to clear the way. Either way Tiger Woods could have avoided the collision.

USGA should reprimand Tiger and suspend him from next U.S. Open for his un-sportsman like conduct.

I am not sure what brings out the morons, haters and bigots who have posted here.
The collision was not Tiger Woods’ fault and the photographer should have been kept further back away from ALL players. This is a MAJOR event and the organizers have done a very poor job of keeping the gallery far enough away from the players so that they cannot seriously affect the play of the event. I have seen this on tees, where camera/IPhone clicking interferes with golfer swings and around greens where putting can be distracted. Fans and viewers are necessary, but they should be kept a reasonable distance away and ejected if they do not behave. Furyk had to disrupt his play to twice ask a fan to stop or put away some distraction. The officials should have immediately ejected that person.

Let me see we will see Woods at the next Major, The British Open.Does the supporters understand that all Woods wants is to beat Jack Nichlaus’ record of 18 Majors.Well he has probably 10 years or less to do it.This arrogant selfish Woods will never beat the record. He is finished.I wish he would retire and go into the US service. As if they would have him.Nichlaus is the greatest golfer of all time, Like Babe Ruth is the greatest hitter of all time. I would like to see Woods go one on one with Nichlaus using Genuine woods and metal shafts and not all this high tech equipment. Its no wonder the top ten golf courses in the country have to lenthen some holes.

I think you miss the point. I am a Pro Golf supporter. When there are major tournaments, it is the responsibility of the officials to try to maintain conditions that are safe for golfers. As I said, that photographer should neve have been allowed close enough to any of the golfers for the collision to occur. He had a telephoto lens anyway.

It is not about Tiger, suppose that one of the golfers who was actually in contention had been injured by such a collision, it would have affected the outcome of the tournament. the fact that people are trying to make it about Tiger or to blame him for the poor management of the grounds shows their bias
