Chael Sonnen makes some changes to UFC 148 promotional poster (Picture)

We had to wait nearly two full years, but the highly-anticipated rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen has finally almost arrived. As UFC fans can tell you, the first meeting between the two middleweights was an extremely bizarre fight, with Sonnen dominating Silva for four rounds before Silva abruptly submitted him in the fifth. Sonnen later tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone.

The two will meet again on Saturday night in Las Vegas. As you can see from the above photo above which is featured as the background of Sonnen’s Twitter page, Chael decided to work up his own promotional poster in anticipation of the fight. The poster features Sonnen standing with Silva’s belt — which Anderson has held for over 2,000 days — draped over his shoulder. Across the top it reads “The rematch Anderson Silva has been running from.” Below Sonnen’s picture the words “The true middleweight champion makes his third title defense” are printed. What do you expect? The guy is certifiably insane.

Last October, Sonnen challenged Silva to a rematch and said he would leave the UFC if he loses. Both Silva and Steven Seagal seem extremely confident that the “Spider” will win the fight, so it will be interesting to see what Sonnen does if Silva wins again.
