Doc Brown NFL Picks Week 3
I proudly announced last week that Doc Brown was back for another season of picking NFL games. The Doc came through with a strong season debut, going 10-6 against the spread and 2-1 on the Top 3 Picks of the Week. If you can nail down your top three picks and go 2-1 each week on those, then you’re killing it. Del already produced his weekly NFL picks and the good news is we’re extremely similar in our thinking this week.
We only differ on one game straight up (I have the Jags beating the Eagles), although we see things differently on seven games against the spread. We both feel like the 4.5 points the Raiders are getting is far too generous, especially with the capable Bruce Gradkowski starting. We also feel that the Steelers defense will be too much for Tampa Bay to overcome even if Charlie Batch is their starting QB. Lastly, I’m liking the Cowboys this week. This is a must-win game for them with everything on the line. They cannot start 0-3. I think they’ll jump out to a nice lead with success in the passing game against Houston’s weak secondary and hang on for the win. Here are Doc Brown’s NFL picks week 3 of the season:
