Byron Buxton fractures toe on rehab assignment
Byron Buxton just can’t seem to catch a break early in the season, and it’s causing some worry for the Minnesota Twins.
The team announced Saturday that Buxton suffered a hairline fracture in his big toe last Sunday when fouling a ball off it while on a rehab assignment, and are not sure how long he will be out.
More tough news for the already reeling #MNTwins. Byron Buxton suffered a hairline fracture in his left big toe after he fouled a ball off it Sunday. They’ll know more about his ETA over the next five days or so, Molitor said.

Buxton had already been shelved due to migraines and was getting back into game shape when this happened. We know the Gold Glover is a gamer, but this is horrible luck, and it remains to be seen how long he’ll be out.
