Rockies send great tweets about field being covered in snow
The MLB season began nearly two months ago, which typically means spring is in full swing. In Colorado, of course, there is a lot more to it than that.
On Tuesday, May 21, Coors Field was covered in snow. The Rockies were fortunately on the road for their scheduled game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but the team’s official Twitter account had some fun with the unfortunate spring weather.

Again, fans in Colorado are used to this. If you remember, we saw a similar situation early in the NFL season last year for the Denver Broncos. The Rockies have also had to clear out far more snow than that in the past in order to play games. Mother Nature simply doesn’t care about sporting events sometimes.
