Roger Clemens’ son Kody earns first minor league promotion
Roger Clemens’ son Kody has already earned his first minor league promotion.
Kody, who was a third-round pick by the Detroit Tigers this year, was promoted to the Tigers’ High-A affiliate on Friday.
The Tigers today announced 12 @MiLB moves, including:

– OF Troy Montgomery to Erie (No. 28)

Clemens smashed 24 home runs for Texas during the spring season and then made his pro debut with the Single-A West Michigan Whitecaps. He batted .302 with an .864 OPS in 41 games for the Whitecaps. The second baseman will now begin playing with the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
