Don’t you just hate when you pay good money for tickets to an event and you get stuck behind tall people obstructing your view? That’s what happened to some unlucky fans at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, but at least they have an awesome story to share.
Newark Star-Ledger sports columnist Steve Politi shared this awesome photo on Twitter Saturday of his brother’s view at a Grateful Dead concert at MSG.
My brother had great seats for the Grateful Dead tonight. Then these two BIG fans blocked his view. pic.twitter.com/xR8xiNNuGc

Those two over-sized gentleman? Yep, none other than basketball legends Bill Walton and Phil Jackson.
Walton is known for being one of the biggest Grateful Dead fans on the planet. He has attended hundreds of the group’s concerts, traveled with them for one of their famous performances in Egypt, and he was inducted into the Grateful Dead Hall of Honor. If you’re going to watch a Grateful Dead concert, there’s a good chance you’ll see Grateful Red.
Jackson, who has won 13 NBA championships as a head coach and player, is also a big Deadhead.
The only thing missing from the basketball twosome was Jay Bilas in this awesome shirt.
