Blake Griffin issues another apology for Matias Testi fight
Blake Griffin has issued another public apology for his role in the confrontation with Clippers staffer Matias Testi.
“I am truly sorry,” Griffin wrote in the Players’ Tribune. “What happened in Toronto was 100% my fault. I messed up.
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about it. And I don’t mean that in some clichéd ‘not a day goes by’ way. I genuinely think about it every single day, and I just feel like I let down the fans who have been riding with us since the beginning.”
It’s not the first time Griffin has apologized for his role in the incident, though this is a bit more comprehensive. A refocused Griffin could be a huge boon to the Clippers. It seems like this is his last word on this incident before he tries to get back to basketball.
