Charles Barkley apologizes for remark about punching Draymond Green
Charles Barkley doesn’t intend to punch Draymond Green, and he’s sorry for saying he wanted to.
After remarking Tuesday night on TNT that he wanted to punch Green in the face, Barkley backed down on Wednesday, apologizing for his comments in an appearance on ESPN Chicago’s Waddle and Silvy.
Charles Barkley w/ @WaddleandSilvy & @TWaddle87– "I want to apologize to Draymond Green…I was 100% wrong"

More Barkley- "We aren't going to fisticuffs! I shouldn't have said it, but I meant it."

It seems there won’t be a fight. Green pretty much challenged Barkley to put his money where his mouth is after learning of the comments, but that was never going to happen, and an apology was pretty much inevitable — although he still meant it.
