De’Aaron Fox loves “Dragon Ball Z,” but not quite as much as some may think.
A video that went viral on Saturday appeared to show the Sacramento Kings rookie yelling “Kameha” (a reference to the signature attack of the protagonist Goku in the popular anime series) on a three against the Dallas Mavericks.

But alas, Fox soon tweeted a hilarious response to the video, claiming that it was edited and saying he was a fan of Vegeta, a nemesis of Goku’s, instead.

Yes, it’s a bit bubble-bursting that Fox didn’t actually drop an in-game anime reference. But between his hot takes on food and his other antics on threes, the 19-year-old is quickly becoming a major cult favorite in the NBA fandom.
