Luis Scola turns 36 years old in a little over a month, but he’s still providing valuable minutes for one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference. In fact, on Friday night, he put up 17 points in the Raptors’ win over the Celtics.
Raptors teammate DeMar DeRozan had a fantastic quote about Scola’s role on the team.
DeRozan gold on Scola: "I call him an old school Cutlass. He can get you to where you gotta go but don't rely on him for any road trips"

Comparisons simply don’t get much better than that. Can we start saying this about every role player?
On the evidence, it seems like DeRozan has a great relationship with his teammates. No wonder they’re nipping at the heels of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the top spot in the East.
