Draymond Green appears to share video of himself driving 118 mph

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green shared a video on social media Wednesday that seemingly showed him driving fast enough to be arrested.

The video, which was part of Green’s Snapchat story, was shot from the driver’s seat of a BMW. While the face of the person driving was never shown, the speedometer was. It read 118 mph. The car was whipping by other vehicles like they were standing still.

After the Warriors beat the L.A. Clippers Wednesday night, Green addressed the video. He did not deny that he was driving the car.

“Obviously, poor judgment,” Green said, via TMZ. “But I think it’s kind of out-of-story of what it’s trying to be made out to be. I’m not here to take any attention away from this team.”

The Warriors also issued a statement saying they are aware of the video and will get more information about it from Green.

You would think Green could have learned something from the other NBA player who posted a video like that, and that player wasn’t going nearly as fast. Bragging about driving at incredibly dangerous speeds is never a good idea.
