Giannis Antetokounmpo did not mince words when addressing a recent report centered on his personal life.

Greek news outlet “To Vima” reported this week that the Greek Freak’s immediate family had already moved out of their 9,900-square-foot Milwaukee home. Per the report, Giannis’ wife Mariah and their four young children have moved to the Bucks star’s hometown of Athens, Greece.

The report even went into detail about the family living in a “custom-built penthouse in a new apartment complex” located in Paleo Psychiko, an exclusive suburb in the Greek capital. The complex was said to be subdivided into separate apartments for each of his four brothers and their widowed mother.

According to @tovimacom, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s wife, Mariah, and their four young children have reportedly moved permanently to Athens

Giannis took to social media to dispute the report in his native Greek.

“Stop lying and endangering my family,” the Bucks star wrote, translated by Instagram. “Publicity is a result of my choices, not my children’s. Every child has the right to grow up without public pressure.

“Every child needs space to grow, explore themselves and the world without feeling watched or judged. As a parent, it is my responsibility to protect their privacy so that they grow up with confidence, dignity and a sense of security.”

The Greek superstar has been under the spotlight all offseason with reports of Antetokounmpo potentially asking the Bucks for a trade this season if things go awry.

Giannis, a fervent family man, has shown his loyalty to Milwaukee for 12 seasons and counting. But with the Bucks’ roster looking dire heading into the new campaign, rival teams have been keeping tabs on Antetokounmpo’s availability.
