If the San Antonio Spurs are planning on having Kawhi Leonard play in Thursday’s Game 6 of their series with the Houston Rockets, they sure are hiding it well.
Head coach Gregg Popovich said Thursday that Leonard is a game-time decision for Game 6 and they will wait and see how the forward feels before determining if he can play in the close-out game.
Coach Pop says Kawhi will be a game-time decision: "I want to take as much time as possible and see what he feels like."

Leonard twisted his ankle in Game 5 when he stepped on James Harden’s foot in the third quarter. He continued to play and saw action in the fourth, but with him clearly affected, Pop decided to bench the star for the team’s final possession of regulation and the entire overtime.
For what it’s worth, Leonard has insisted since Tuesday that he will be playing in Game 6.

Danny Green and Manu Ginobili stepped up big to help San Antonio pull off the win in Game 5. But can they repeat that success in Game 6? Having Leonard around would certainly help.
