The Miami Heat have not revealed much regarding the knee injury of Hassan Whiteside, other than to say it would keep him out of Game 4. But it sounds like the knee injury is fairly serious.
The Miami Herald’s Ethan J. Skolnick says the injury is a “first degree, or least severe, sprain.”
Whiteside strained his knee in Game 1 against the Raptors but was playing through it. He then twisted his knee in Game 3 of the series on this play.

Whiteside is in a walking boot and knee brace as he tries to heal.
The 7-footer is averaging 14.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game. The Heat will hope to have him back during their series with the Raptors.
