Isaiah Thomas has found a new home after spending last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers.
The Denver Nuggets just missed the playoffs last season, finishing ninth in the NBA’s Western Conference. The plan for next season is to not be on the outside looking in. On Thursday, the Nuggets added some firepower off the bench in the form of Isaiah Thomas.

Two summers ago, Thomas was joking about backing up a Brinks truck in terms of his looming free agency. Since then, Thomas has suffered through a bothersome hip injury that has affected his value to the point where he had to settle for a veteran’s minimum.
If Thomas can return to form next season under his former coach, he could be in line for a much bigger contract next summer.
