Isaiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins were teammates with the Sacramento Kings before Thomas was traded to the Boston Celtics. And if the Kings are looking to unload Cousins, Thomas seems to think the two could be teammates again.
With speculation continuing to build that George Karl wants to trade Cousins, Thomas hinted that the Celtics may want Cousins with an Instagram comment on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently the hot name in terms of teams that are interested in Cousins, but Celtics president Danny Ainge is reportedly open to trading almost anyone to move up in the draft. It would stand to reason that Ainge would be willing to make the same type of deal for a 24-year-old proven frontcourt presence if the situation presented itself.
If Cousins’ recent tweet is any indication, he and Karl are going to have problems coexisting. A trade may be the only option at this point.
