Jamal Crawford reportedly leaving Clippers after disappointing contract offer
Jamal Crawford will reportedly be leaving the Los Angeles Clippers after their contract offer left a lot to be desired.
Sam Amick of USA Today reported Sunday that Crawford received a contract offer lower than the one signed by Austin Rivers, which has left the Sixth Man of the Year feeling a bit disillusioned.
Given the money flying around, it’s no wonder Crawford wouldn’t be pleased at an offer that comes in for lower than $35 million. He’s a valuable piece and is attracting a wide range of interest, including from the Golden State Warriors.
Jamal Crawford hasn't agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors but there is mutual interest, per a source.

Crawford wanted to stay with the Clippers, but clearly they weren’t even in the ballpark when it came to meeting his financial demands. Someone will definitely pay him what he wants.
