Jordan Adams to undergo another surgery on right knee
The NBA career of Memphis Grizzlies guard Jordan Adams has yet to get off the ground, and now it may have to wait a little bit longer to do so.
The Grizzlies announced on Wednesday that Adams will undergo cartilage transplant surgery on his right knee and is out indefinitely, per Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders. The surgery will mark Adams’ third procedure on the same knee over the span of the last ten months.

The former UCLA guard was selected by Memphis No. 22 overall in the 2014 Draft, but has appeared in just 32 of a possible 164 games over his first two seasons, thanks to both injury and time spent on assignment in the D-League.
Still just 21 years old, Adams hopefully has enough time to get healthy and realize the full potential of his NBA dream. But scoring guards in the Association are forced to rely heavily on athleticism and lateral movement, so it will definitely be an uphill battle for Adams, especially given the number of setbacks he has had in the same knee over such a short period of time.
