Justise Winslow could play point guard for Heat
Justise Winslow could get some looks at point guard for the Miami Heat in the near future.
The Heat will be without point guard Goran Dragic for around two months due to knee surgery. They have Tyler Johnson as their backup point guard, but they’re thin beyond that. That’s why Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra says Winslow could play point guard when he returns from injury.
When asked how the Heat will deal with the PG position in Dragic's absence, Spoelstra said: “We’ve had some experience doing it already this year, unfortunately. But when Justise is able to go, I’m slotting him in that position.”

Winslow is returning from an ankle injury suffered on Sunday that’s not expected to keep him out long.
Winslow, the former No. 10 pick out of Duke, has mostly played forward for the Heat, but he has shown versatility during his career, even getting a start at center. Winslow is averaging 10.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28.1 minutes per game this season.
