Kyle Lowry sticking with Game 7 treatment for Game 2
Treating Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals as a Game 7 worked for Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors, so the point guard is doing it again for Game 2.
The Raptors, who had a long history of struggling in Game 1s, beat the Washington Wizards 114-106 in the series opener on Saturday. As long as that mentality is working for Toronto, Lowry plans to keep using it.
Game 2 is also a Game 7, per Kyle Lowry

Whatever works. Lowry was pretty firm about this before Game 1 and it did pay off. Another win would maintain home court advantage and give the Raptors a commanding 2-0 series lead. If they win that one, it’s safe to say Lowry will be treating Game 3 as a winner-take-all game as well.
