Kevin Love was ‘stroking it’ again last night (Video)

Kevin Love helped the Cleveland Cavaliers take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Boston Celtics on Thursday night with some great shooting from the field. You might even say Love was stroking it, but just be careful how you phrase that.

Love’s performance has resulted in an older video from Busted Coverage resurfacing, in which Mike Cairns of WEWS in Cleveland asked Kyrie Irving a very awkward question about Love’s performance after a game in February.

“Kevin Love in that 14-2 run hit four straight threes,” Cairns said. “You’re a part of that, obviously, but how much fun (was it) to sit back and just watch that guy stroke it?”

Irving paused for about three seconds before giving his response, and his reaction was perfect.

Kyrie-Irving

When Dwight Howard gave a “pause” a few years back because of his own comment, he sounded like a 12-year-old. The fact that Irving was able to hold it together amazes me. That was hilarious.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this post indicated that the interview with Irving took place after Thursday night’s playoff game. We apologize for the oversight.
