LeBron James on Monday explained his viral tweet about Donald Trump.
On Saturday morning, James woke up to the news that President Trump had tweeted that he was rescinding an invitation to the Golden State Warriors to visit the White House in honor of winning the NBA championship. Trump’s tweet came less than a day after former NBA MVP Steph Curry said he would not visit the White House. That led James to send his infamous “U bum” tweet about the president.
U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!
