Marcus Smart suffered a serious leg injury on Friday during the fourth quarter of the Celtics’ game against the Indiana Pacers.
Smart stepped on his opponent as he was driving to the hoop in transition and rolled his ankle. He was yelling in obvious pain and was later carted off the floor.

The injury is obviously severe, though we’re unsure at this point how bad it is. The team announced that he has a left ankle injury and that he is undergoing X-rays and an MRI. At least he gave a thumbs up as he was carted off.
