Steve Kerr lets Warriors players coach themselves during timeouts
Steve Kerr tried some next-level coaching on Monday. In fact, his strategy was to let his players coach themselves during timeouts.
During the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Phoenix Suns, Kerr was seen stepping aside during timeouts and letting his players run the huddle.
Notable: Steve Kerr is having the players run the timeout huddles tonight. Stood outside during every first quarter break. This was decided pregame. pic.twitter.com/Mnqjd8hl7x

Andre Iguodala ran one of the timeouts:

Draymond Green and David West also ran timeouts. Even JaVale McGee seemed to get a turn with it.
The Warriors were up big on Phoenix and clearly chose a game where they knew they could experiment. That probably won’t sit too well with the Suns.
