The Golden State Warriors fear that Draymond Green will be suspended for a potentially clinching Game 5, according to reports.
According to Marc J. Spears of the Undefeated, there is “growing concern” that Green will be assessed a flagrant 1 foul for his groin shot to LeBron James in Game 4. That would mean an automatic one game suspension for Green for accumulating too many flagrant fouls during the playoffs.
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that any discipline could be handed down on Sunday.
Green would obviously be a big loss for the Warriors, as he couldn’t stop himself from responding after this stepover. That said, it appeared that Green’s words, not actions, were what bothered James the most.
