Jabrill Peppers knows Michigan did not take care of business
Jabrill Peppers may be disappointed that Michigan did not make it into the College Football Playoff, but the Wolverines DB understands why his team was left out.
Peppers, a potential Heisman Trophy candidate, tweeted on Sunday about Michigan being jumped by Penn State in the College Football Playoff rankings, which pushes them down to the sixth spot. He also accepted responsibility for Michigan not making it into the playoff.
We take care of business, we're in. We don't, we're not..& we didn't. Can't knock the teams that did.

Even though we beat PSU handedly, We were their last lost, early in the season. They didn't lose again, beat OSU and Iowa & won the Ship.

I think the committee knows we are better, they just can't knock what they've turned their season into. It's a slippery slope.

Peppers gave a lot of recognition to Penn State even though Michigan destroyed the Nittany Lions 49-10 early in the season.
Shoutout to the Guys at PSU! Y'all did y'all thing, hold it down in the Rose!

Thus.. Us being #6 behind PSU makes sense.

Michigan ends the regular season with a 10-2 record. They started off 9-0, but the loss at Iowa is really what ruined their season. They might have been able to make the playoff with only the close loss to Ohio State, but the loss to Iowa did them in. Now the Wolverines will face Florida State in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30.
