Watch: Jerry Jeudy catches 85-yard TD on Alabama’s first play of Citrus Bowl
Jerry Jeudy is expected to be one of the top players taken in the NFL Draft later this year, and the star wide receiver wasted no time showing us why in Alabama’s game against Michigan on Wednesday.
After Alabama forced a three-and-out to start the game, Jeudy caught an 85-yard touchdown pass from Mac Jones on the very first offensive play for the Crimson Tide. He showed off his blazing speed by torching a defender.

Jeudy entered the Citrus Bowl with 71 catches for 959 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. He had an even better year as a sophomore last season, catching 68 passes for 1,316 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged nearly 20 yards per reception in 2018.
Michigan should have known they were in trouble with the shirts Jeudy and some other Alabama players wore during warmups before the game. It could be a very long day for Jim Harbaugh’s squad.
