Adrian Peterson continues to turn up the Teddy Bridgewater hype machine.
Peterson said Tuesday that he sees “greatness” in his quarterback’s eyes, and believes he will reach an even higher level.
“When I look in his eyes, I see greatness,” Peterson said of Bridgewater, via ESPN’s Ben Goessling. “I see a young man who’s — even now, he’s matured more, and he wants to be great. He has that leadership, he has that leader inside him and it’s coming out even more. He just has a good spirit. He has a good soul, a good spirit. And when you combine that with talent, and the mindset that he has, greatness will come out.”
Peterson is firmly of the belief that Bridgewater has the chance to be the next of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks. In fact, a few months back he compared Bridgewater to one of the game’s icons. You have to wonder if he’s hyping up his third-year quarterback a little bit too much.
