Adrian Peterson had an exchange with Sean Payton during the New Orleans Saints’ Monday night game against the Minnesota Vikings that will have people talking.
Early in the third quarter of the game, ESPN showed footage of Peterson looking at Payton on the sidelines. They say the video was captured late in the first half.

ESPN said they did not know what was said in the exchange, nor did they offer any more context to the video clip they showed. They speculated that Peterson may have barked at Payton about his role in the offense.
This is Peterson’s first season in New Orleans after playing his entire career with the Vikings. Between Peterson, Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamara, the Saints have multiple options in their crowded backfield.
