Austin Seibert missed a big kick in his Washington Commanders’ 34-26 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and the fans were not exactly forgiving.
The Commanders scored a touchdown on an 86-yard pass from Jayden Daniels to Terry McLaurin with 21 seconds left to make it 27-26. Seibert was all set to tie the game with an extra point, but a bad snap may have messed up the kick’s timing. Seibert pulled his kick wide to the left for his second missed extra point of the game.
The last missed extra point was Seibert’s third missed kick of the game. He made field goals from 41 and 51 yards away and missed a 51-yarder, in addition to his two missed extra point attempts.
Fans did not react to Seibert kindly after the game and hit him with the memes on X.

That’s brutal for Seibert.
Seibert had missed the Commanders’ last two games due to a hip injury. Prior to Sunday’s loss, he had gone 25/27 on field goal attempts and 22/22 on extra point attempts. Maybe he wasn’t as ready to return to action as he thought.
